Reading list

Here's a quick update on the books I plan to read in the next little bit for the purposes of this project.

Under the Volcano, by Malcolm Lowry. Reading this now. I'm about halfway thru.

The Kreutzer Sonata, by Leo Tolstoy.

Dark Night of the Soul, by St. John of the Cross

The Personal Recollections of Joan of Arc, by Mark Twain.

I also intend to hunt a bit through Emerson and Hume and fellows like that and see if they have anything relevant to say. I'm really hunting for some relevant materials by Freud or Nietzsche.
